Cycle the Seacoast-Bike Ride

About Cycle the Seacoast The 7th annual American Lung Association Cycle the Seacoast ride is scheduled for Sunday, May 1st, 2016.  It will have close to 400 cyclists. The first riders will be leaving Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth at 7:00 AM and the last rider will be in around 3:00 PM. Education For All Children Triathlon

Money is being raised for the organization, Education For All Children (EFAC). A triathlon will begin at Portsmouth High School on May 29, 2016, beginning around 3:00 pm. The bike ride portion of the event will come through Rye via Wentworth Rd and will take the circle back onto Sagamore Rd and back into Portsmouth.

Ride to End Alzheimer’s-Saturday, June 9

Saturday, June 9, is the Alzheimer's Association Ride to End Alzheimer's.  The ride consists of a 30 mile route, 62 mile route, and a 100 mile route.  All of the routes begin and end at Odiorne State Park in Rye.  Roads in Rye that will be affected are Ocean Blvd, Washington Rd, Wallis Rd, Brackett Rd, Parsons Rd, and Marsh Rd.  Please be very cautious when traveling on Saturday and be aware of cyclists and spectators.  The map photo is…

Granite State Quest and Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life

Tomorrow, July 14, there will be two charity bike rides taking place that will travel through Rye. They are the Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life and the Granite State Quest. There will not be any road closures or detours, but there will be an increase in cyclists, so please be aware when driving. They all should be through Rye by approximately 12:00 PM. Please plan ahead and allot extra time for traveling. Thank you!

Bike MS: NH Seacoast Escape

On Saturday, August 25, the National MS Society will be hosting a 25 mile and 60 mile charity bike ride.  The ride starts and ends in Stratham.  The 60 mile ride is the only one that will travel through Rye.  Roads traveled in Rye will be Wentworth Rd, Sagamore Rd, and Route 1A.  The ride begins at 8:30 AM and will end by 4:00 PM.  There will not be any detours or road closures as a result of this ride. …

American Lung Association – Cycle the Seacoast

Cycle the Seacoast is a biking event, fundraising for the American Lung Association.  Roads that will be traveled in Rye are Route 1A, Central Road, Washington Road, South Rd/West Rd, and Lang Rd.  Rest stops will be at 741 Ocean Boulevard (Pebble Cove Motel) and 566 Washington Road (Tate & Foss Real Estate).

Annie’s Angels Rye by the Sea Duathlon

On Saturday, June 1, the Annie's Angels Rye by the Sea Duathlon will travel through Rye during the morning hours of approximately 8:00AM-11:00AM.  The race consists of a run and bike ride. Please use caution and allot extra time to reach destinations.  There will be officers posted to aid with traffic throughout the route.

Turkey Trot-Huff’n For Stuff’n
