Bike Rodeo 2015
Friday, May 15th, 2015 will be our annual Bike to School Day. The Kick - Off Event will be the annual Bike Rodeo held at the Rye Congregational Church on Saturday, May 9th from 1-3pm. Then that week the kids can ride to school each day (Elementary School with supervision for younger grades). Each kid that rides/walks get a point. On Monday, May 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. the Town of Rye will conduct a Memorial Day Ceremony at Central Cemetery. The Ceremony will begin with a parade from the Veterans Monument lead by a 26 year old morgan gelding “Willie” and end on the green at Central Cemetery. Participating in the parade will be the New Hampshire Police Association Pipes and Drums, the Rye Police and Fire Departments, Veterans, Girl and Boy Scouts, and vintage fire trucks.
