Heroin Overdose Deaths

On Friday 9/18/2015, Rye Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a medical emergency at 8 Adams Park. On arrival, a 46 year old male was pronounced deceased on scene. The NH Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office was notified. Based on evidence recovered from the scene, this was an apparent heroin overdose.

On Saturday 9/19/2015, Rye Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a medical emergency at 237 Grove Rd. The patient, a 23 year old male was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Based on evidence recovered from the scene, this was another apparent heroin overdose.
